FIRE INDUCTION TRAINER TRAINING COURSE
This course is designed for staff who are responsible for delivering induction training to new employees. Our Fire Safety Induction Trainer course has been designed to give the trainer all the fire safety information and tools to effectively deliver fire safety induction training to other staff. The training meets the requirements under the Fire Safety Legislation (NI) 2010 for fire safety training to be delivered to all staff at induction and periodically thereafter. In organisations where the standard fire training is delivered frequently this course is very cost effective, making it an ideal solution for many businesses.

Theory Session:
- Introduction to fire safety & Fire hazards
- Fire prevention & Fire protection & Housekeeping
- Electrical Equipment & Stopping fires occurring
- Actions on discovering a fire & Hearing the fire alarm
- Fire induction & Fire drills & Employee duties
- Means of escape & Fire exit door operation explained
- Fire alarm call points – locations shown & operation explained
- Location and restricted use of fire extinguishers explained
- Assembly point area and smoking area visited
- Company fire safety policy explained & Fire wardens introduced
- Fire risks in working area described
Practical Session:
- Premises induction tour detailing escape routes and fire equipment

- Course Duration - Approximately 2 hours
- Course at your Premises - This course can be delivered on site at your workplace or at any convenient training location with suitable facilities. An external space will be required for the practical session
